Overview of the Main Screen

On the main screen, you'll find the wallet widget displaying your total balance in USD. Two types of balances are available: Available and Frozen. Below the widget, you can see cards of the cryptocurrencies currently stored in your wallet, each showing its balance:

To add a new cryptocurrency to your existing wallet, tap "Add Asset" on the main widget. A window will open showing the list of currently supported cryptocurrencies, organized by blockchain network type*.

To receive or send cryptocurrency, tap the card of the desired asset from your available list.

If you want to receive cryptocurrency to your wallet, tap the "Receive" button.

A QR code will appear — you can take a screenshot or share it with the sender. You'll also see your wallet address, which can be copied by tapping the copy icon:

To send cryptocurrency, tap "Send." In the window that opens, enter the amount and the recipient's address. You can also send crypto by scanning a QR code.

You can assign a unique name to your wallet and rename it at any time. The display order of your wallets can also be adjusted. You can find more details on how to add a new wallet in the "Settings" section. The guide for creating your first wallet is available via this link.

How to Create a UWallet and Start Using It

Download the UWallet app from the App Store if you have an iOS device, or Google Play if you are using Android. You can find the latest download links on uwallet.com

Launch the wallet and select the app language.

Agree to the terms of use by checking the box, then tap "Create Wallet":

UWallet will offer you two options: Basic Protection and Passphrase Protection. By default, the mnemonic phrase consists of 12 words, but a 24-word option is also available. Let's choose "Basic Protection." After selecting the option, tap "Continue":

When selecting Basic Protection, UWallet will instantly create a new wallet for you. You will then need to save your mnemonic phrase to restore access to your wallet. To do this, tap the message labeled "Backup Needed" on the main screen:

By clicking the banner, you will see a warning from the wallet reminding you to save your passphrase — a thirteenth, additional word to your mnemonic phrase.

This setup mode adds an extra layer of protection to your wallet.
In addition to your 12-word mnemonic phrase, you'll be asked to create a passphrase — a 13th secret word that enhances the security of your funds.

After selecting this mode, tap "Continue."
UWallet will display important information about the purpose of the passphrase and the rules for creating it. Review the instructions carefully, then tap "Continue" again.

You'll then see your 12-word recovery phrase displayed at the top of the screen.
To reveal it, press and hold "Press and hold here to see the phrase."
This phrase is the master key to your wallet — anyone with it can access your funds.
Write it down on paper and store it safely offline.
Do not save it on your phone, computer, or cloud storage, and never share it with anyone.

Below the mnemonic phrase, you'll find a field to create your passphrase — this extra word is required to restore access to your wallet if needed.
After entering it, check the box confirming that you accept full responsibility for storing it securely, then tap "Next."

Please note that UWallet does not store your passphrases. Therefore, it is extremely important to safely store and remember this word. If you lose or forget your passphrase, it cannot be recovered, and you will permanently lose access to your wallet. UWallet will provide an additional warning about this. Tap OK to continue:

Next, the wallet will ask you to select all the words from your mnemonic phrase in the correct order and enter your passphrase. Do this and tap "Next":

If everything is done correctly, you will see a message confirming that your wallet has been successfully created.

Done! You have successfully created your UWallet!
